Ocean City, along with American Legion Morvay-Miley Post 524 and VFW Post 6650 will hold A Day To Remember, the annual September 11 Commemoration ceremony on Saturday. The program is set from 11 a.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park, 500 Wesley Ave. Rain location is across the Street at the Tabernacle Auditorium.
As part of the ceremony, American Legion Post Commander, Bob Marzulli and VFW Commander, Brendan Gheen, will unveil emblems from both of their organizations featured in the new brick walkway of the Park. The ceremony honors the memory of all those who perished on Sept.11. It is also a tribute to the fire and other personnel who participated in rescue and recovery operations.
