SENTENCING HANDED DOWN IN 2012 SHOOTING DEATH

An Atlantic City man was sentenced to 24 years in prison in connection with the 2012 shooting death of a 19-year-old Mays Landing man. Hasan Bruce, 22, of the 600 block of North Indiana Avenue, Atlantic City, was given 24 years of incarceration for shooting and killing Zachary Taylor, 19, of Mimosa Court, Mays Landing, on June 18, 2012 at the intersection of Michigan and McKinley Avenues in Atlantic City.
