The grand opening and ribbon cutting was held for a new senior center in Upper Township. Government officials and residents gathered for ceremony. The building closed two years ago for $674,000 in work, with $400,000 coming from Small Cities grant program funding. Cape May County Freeholder Kristine Gabor said the county has the ability to provide services through the building that are typically only available in Rio Grande at times in this new facility.
