An employee of a shady senior care company in Atlantic County admitted on Monday that she tried to steal money from an elderly client. Susan Hamlett of Egg Harbor Township worked for A Better Choice and admitted that she planned to steal the money from a client. The owner of the company, her sister, and an attorney all conspired to steal millions of dollars from elderly clients in their care. All of the defendants have pleaded guilty.
