SENATOR CODEY CALLS FOR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FIRING AT RUTGERS

Former Governor and current State Senator Richard Codey wants the athletic director for Rutgers gone. Julie Hermann was hired by the school about a year ago, but seems to keep her name in the news a lot. The most recent was a report by the Star-Ledger that Hermann said during one of her classes that she was happy to hear the newspaper was struggling financially and wished it would go away. Codey wrote a letter to the school questioning why someone would be happy to hear 167 people lost their jobs.
