United States Senator Cory Booker spent his first message before the Senate discussing the plight of millions of Americans who lost their unemployment insurance. Booker asked his fellow senators to approve an extension of unemployment benefits for those who no longer receive it. Booker says 70,000 Americans lose their benefits every day in the United States.
