SENATE COMMITTEE TO VOTE ON PAID SICK LEAVE FOR ALL

A bill that would force all employers to provide paid sick leave will face a vote on Monday. The state Senate Labor Committee will hear the proposal on Monday afternoon and vote. Workers would get an hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours their work. Companies with 10 or less workers would have to allow workers to earn at least 40 hours. Companies with more than 10 would have to provide up to 72 hours.
