SENATE COMMITTEE TO TAKE UP SUPREME COURT NOMINEE

The latest state Supreme Court nominee will be getting a hearing later this month. Judge Faustino Fernandez-Vina will go before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Oct. 17 for approval. Gov. Chris Christie has had a hard time getting nominees through the process recently. Justice Helen Hoens was not renominated by Christie and Fernandez-Vina was submitted in her place.
