SECOND-HAND MERCHANTS MUST COMPLY IN LOWER TWP.

The Lower Township Council has unanimously approved a new ordinance that will require all of the Township’s second-hand merchandise merchants to participate in the Regional Automated Property Information Database.  The program tracks stolen merchandise that may wind up in their businesses for sale.  The measure was approved at Monday night’s meeting.
