A tremendous run by the Middle Township girls basketball team ended Monday night. Cedar Creek defeated the Middle Township Lady Panthers, 56-50 to capture the South Jersey Group II basketball championship. The game was played at Cedar Creek High School. Middle Township was the final Cape May County team to play in the NJSIAA tournament.
