The big boardwalk fire that leveled a large section of the boardwalk in Seaside Park will be ruled accidental today. A press conference will be held this afternoon and fire officials are expected to announce that the fire was electrical in nature and started inside an ice cream shop adjacent to the boardwalk. Last week’s blaze completely destroyed a large section of boardwalk that was also hammered by Hurricane Sandy. Governor Christie promises a strong effort to rebuild the boardwalk.
