SEARS FILES FOR CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY, MORE STORE CLOSURES COMING

Sears has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and 142 additional Kmart and Sears stores are scheduled to close.  Sears has 11 remaining stores in New Jersey; the location at the Hamilton Mall had previously been identified for closure.
