The search for a missing Michigan pilot resumed off the coast of Atlantic City Friday morning. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the initial report released by the National Transportation Safety Board, said that the single-engine Mooney M-20 went down in the Atlantic Ocean at 2:47 p.m. Thursday. There were no reports of any radio contact with the pilot, Michael Moir, for two hours prior to the crash. The 68 year-old Moir was alone in the aircraft when he left Gaylord, Michigan at noon on Thursday, with a scheduled arrival at the Atlantic City Airport at 2:51 p.m.
