The search for an alleged missing swimmer in Absecon Inlet was called off late Monday afternoon by the United States Coast Guard. The Coast Guard searched for a missing swimmer but found nothing; local officials say they do not have evidence that the missing person is actually in the Inlet, so the search was suspended.
