A young seal came ashore in Avalon Friday morning. The seal came onto the Borough’s 9th Street Beach, and was first spotted around 8:00am Friday. The seal has no visible signs of illness or abrasions. Avalon Police called the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine after it appeared on the beach.
