SEA ISLE WILL KEEP MAY ELECTIONS

Sea Isle City is one community that will not be moving its election date. New state law allows for towns that hold May elections to move them to November to save money. Many local communities are exploring the option. City council in Sea Isle made the decision to not move the election date. The argument made against moving the election date is that these smaller towns are concerned that the local issues of a municipal election would get lost in the general election for a President, or governor.
