SEA ISLE MAYOR: IT WOULD TAKE SEVEN YEARS TO GET PERMITS FOR BRIDGE

Sea Isle City Mayor Len Desiderio says it would take up to $100 million in funding and approximately seven years of permits before a new Townsend’s Inlet Bridge could be built between Avalon and Sea Isle City.  The county-operated bridge will remain shut down for Memorial Day weekend; some pedestrians and bicyclists will be able to cross.
