SEA ISLE CITY SCRAPS VERIZON PLAN FOR CELL TOWER

Sea Isle City has ended the public controversy over a potential cell phone tower in the community.  City Council met on Tuesday and scrapped a plan that would resulted in a cell tower to be constructed on 63rd Street.  Some in the community fought hard against the tower.  Verizon says the tower would have eliminated gaps in service.
