Bus stops that were taken out when the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge dropped below its necessary weight limit could be back soon in Sea Isle City. An ordinance was introduced which identifies New Jersey Transit bus stops in Sea Isle City, including Landis Avenue at 87th Street (northbound); Landis at 63rd (northbound); JFK Boulevard at Cini Avenue (northbound); JFK at Landis (southbound); Landis at 62nd (southbound); and Landis at 86th (southbound). The re-establishment of the bus stops is due to the planned re-opening of the T.I. Bridge, which will once again allow N.J. Transit buses to cross between Sea Isle City and Avalon, thus restoring full bus service to our town.
