The library in Sea Isle City will be closed for two weeks next month as the final preparations are made to open the new branch of the county library system in the city. The new $6.5 million branch, at 4800 Central Ave. will have a grand opening on Oct. 25.
The current Sea Isle City branch of the Cape May County Library located at 125 John F. Kennedy Boulevard will close its doors on Sunday, October 9, 2011. Between October 10th and October 24th, no fines will be charged and book drops will be open at both the old and new locations of the Sea Isle City Library. Also, while the Sea Isle City Library is closed, patrons are asked to call 463-6350 to let the library know where you would like to pick up your requests.
