SEA ISLE CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSES BEACH FILL PROJECT

The main topic of conversation Tuesday during Sea Isle City’s council meeting was an upcoming beach fill project.  State DEP officials attended the meeting and told city leaders that a beach fill project will end in the middle of September near Townsend’s Inlet.  The beach fill project is one of many being considered throughout the state.  On Wednesday night, Avalon’s council is expected to authorize funding for a beach fill project as well.
