A small tax increase in Sea Isle City this year. City Council met Tuesday and approved a new $21.5 million budget that increases the local purpose tax rate by 1.1 cents. The budget was discussed by Council Tuesday, but no members of the public spoke about the spending plan. The city learned recently that its bond rating has been improved to AA status by Standard and Poor’s.
