SCHOOLS MAY SOON SET SOCIAL MEDIA PARAMETERS

Schools in New Jersey may soon be required to set guidelines on how school staff communicates with students through social media.  A new bill is up for a vote in the full New Jersey Senate today that would require all public school districts to come up with guidelines on how teachers and staff communicate with students.  If it’s approved, districts will have only four months to develop their own social media policies.
