SCHOOL TAX RATE GOING UP, IN UPPER TOWNSHIP

The school tax rate is going up, in Upper Township.  The Upper Township Board of Education voted Monday to approve a new $38.4 million budget for the new school year, and it includes a tax increase of just under two cents.  The budget was vetted during a public hearing on Monday at the Upper Township Middle School.
