SCHOOL BUS AND FIVE VEHICLES INVOLVED IN CRASH

Five motor vehicles and a bus were involved in a crash in Egg Harbor Township. Police there say the collision occurred on Tilton Rd between the NAFEC Circle and the Tilton Terrace Mobile Park located in the Cardiff Section of the Township. The driver of the school bus was exiting the circle when the bus experience of mechanical malfunction, which created a chain reaction of collisions. Traffic was detoured for approximately one and one half hours while the crash was being investigated and cleared. A couple of people were injured, but none of those injuries are said to be life-threatening. The conclusion of the investigation is pending the inspection of the School Bus by NJDOT inspectors.
