SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER COLLAPSES, DIES AT MEETING

A member of the Upper Township school board collapsed and died at a meeting on Monday evening.  The Press of Atlantic City reports today that Audrey Eichenberger died after she collapsed during a board meeting on Monday.  School Superintendent Vincent Palmieri issued a statement, saying Eichenberger collasped shortly before 7:00pm; she passed away about an hour later.  She was a longtime teacher in Upper Township.  The board was meeting to talk about a bond referendum at the school.
