Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Irving Fryar is in court this week. Fryar and his mother are both accused of defrauding several banks in a mortgage scheme they allegedly cooked up. Fryar and his mother are accused of defrauding the banks out of over $1 million dollars. Both have denied the charges and rejected plea bargain deals that would have resulted in prison sentences.
