The cold front that ripped through South Jersey Monday afternoon did not bring any tornadoes with it as a tornado watch was cancelled just after 4 p.m. The National Weather Service reported brief periods of heavy rain and wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph as the rain fell for the first time since September 22nd. Cooler air entered the region and meteorologists say we will probably not see high temperatures in the 80’s again this year.
