SATURDAY STORM FLOODS STREETS, KNOCKS OUT POWER

A heavy line of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon knocked out power and flooded streets in southern and central Cape May County.  Wildwood saw several inches of water on some streets during a heavy downpour.  Some visitors took to paddle boards and kayaks to negotiate the streets.  The storms brought plenty of lightning and knocked out power in some neighborhoods, including a brief outage in Avalon and Stone Harbor.
