SATURDAY RAIN DAMPENS SPECIAL EVENTS IN REGION

Some Saturday rain dampened and even cancelled some special events in the county over the weekend.  Ocean City held its block party and Avalon held its seafood festival on Saturday despite rain that finally stopped around lunchtime on Saturday.  Good crowds were enjoyed at both events despite the wet weather.  West Cape May’s eclectic Lima Bean Festival was pushed  back one day from Saturday to Sunday due to the bad weather.
