Hurricane Sandy is starting to make its way to New Jersey The new 8 a.m. update has come out from the National Hurricane Center and Sandy is moving at a NNW west direction at 20 mph. Maximum sustained winds continue to be 85 miles per hour and hurricane force winds are expected when Sandy makes landfall. Rainy conditions will continue throughout today and the whole Jersey Shore remains under a coastal flood warning. A high tide event is taking place this morning and another one will happen later this evening.
