The top man at Rutgers will not be getting the top pay. The university announced it hired a health sciences chancellor, who is being paid $675,000 per year. School president Robert Barchi, only make $650,000 in base pay. Both Brian Strom, and Barach are eligible for bonuses and extra that enhance the pay package. Strom will received $40,000 per year in deferred compensation if he stays at the job for at least five years.
