A new mayor means a new business administrator in Ocean City as well. Jim Rutala is no longer the administrator in the city. Mayor Jay Gillan told Rutala he would be looking to name a new administrator once he took office on July 1. Mike Dattilo is serving in the role on an interim bases. Any final decision on a full-time replacement will have to go through council.
