Instead of having a slow trickle of bad news come out, Jon Runyan admitted to reporters he has made mistakes in the past. The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman said he has been late on paying his property taxes on his two properties nearly a third of the time. He called the mistake “careless.” Runyan said he believes his likely opponent in his Congressional race, John Adler, can’t beat him on the issues. He also admitted to have a tax lien placed a company in 2007, that Runyan had the controlling interest of, for not paying taxes.
