The annual New Jersey Run for the Fallen begins at 8 a.m. Thursday morning at the Cape May Lighthouse. The event spans four days and 190 miles from Cape May Point to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel, in Monmouth County. Military runners stop at memorial markers every mile along the route, to honor a service member who was killed in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
