On Thursday afternoon a federal judge plans to issue a ruling on Revel Casino-Hotel’s request to void their deal with Florida businessman Glenn Straub. Revel officials claim that there are no acceptable offers for the Boardwalk complex and said liquidation is possible but not preferred. Straub met with Revel’s attorneys on Tuesday after a court hearing in Camden in an attempt to salvage the deal. Revel is requesting that the judge to allow them to scrap the proposed $95.4 million sale and keep Straub’s $10 million deposit.
