A serious accident took place today around 4 p.m. on Route 9. Middle Township Police are investigating a pick up truck vs. a tractor trailer head-on accident near the Rio Auto Body. The southbound lane is shut down at this time. The northbound lane is being detoured through Edgewood. Police are not releasing any more information at this time.
