The new traffic pattern has been implemented at the Route 52 Causeway. The New Jersey Department of Transportation put the change into effect at 8 p.m. on Monday. Traffic will be placed in a single lane on portions of the bridge both north and southbound between Ocean City and Somers Point. The lane closures will allow for the demolition of the remaining northbound portion of the existing structure in Ocean City.
