ROUGHLY 30 PEOPLE INVOLVED IN FIGHT AT HAMILTON MALL

A large fight had to be broken up at the Hamilton Mall on Saturday. Police were called around 6:30 p.m. for the report of up to 30 people involved in a brawl. While police responded, there was reports of shots fired, but that was found to be untrue. A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested for disorderly conduct for throwing chairs during the altercation. The fights involved juveniles and later, adults of the juveniles. The area was dispersed, with complaints filed against three subjects. Police remained on foot patrol in the mall until closing.
