ROMNEY HOLDING STRONG IN LATEST POLL

A new national poll looks good for GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney. The latest Monmouth University poll shows that Romney holds a three point edge of President Barack Obama. Currently, Gov. Romney leads the incumbent by 48% to 45% among likely American voters.  Following the first debate earlier this month, Romney held a one point lead. Polling Director Patrick Murray says Romney has closed the gap in many issues and is holding the momentum of the first debate performance.
