ROAD WORK BEGINS AGAIN ON NEW JERSEY AVE. IN WILDWOOD

The second phase of the New Jersey Avenue Resurfacing Improvement project from Youngs Avenue to 26th Avenue in the City of Wildwood is slated to restart on or about October 5, 2015. This second phase involves the reconstruction of the New Jersey Avenue roadbed from Wildwood Avenue to 26th Avenue and is expected to be completed by the end of this year. The first phase, complete in June, improved the section of New Jersey Avenue from Youngs Avenue to Wildwood Avenue. Traffic control will be similar to the first phase of construction where initially the northbound lanes are closed to all traffic and southbound traffic is reduced to one lane. Northbound traffic will be detoured to the adjacent parallel streets, Park Boulevard and Pacific Avenue. Truck traffic is detoured to Park Boulevard.
