Hundreds of road and transportation projects are now on ice in New Jersey. Governor Christie shut down many road projects across the State because lawmakers would not agree to finance the Transportation Trust Fund with a gas tax increase. Senate President Steve Sweeney has been meeting behind closed doors, trying to negotiate a compromise.
