Mill Road (County Road 557) in Upper Township is closed due to a collapsed roadway. Runoff from this weekend’s storm eroded the embankment and roadbed around an existing storm drain pipe. Mill Road is just south of and parallels NJ Route 49. Mill Road is closed from Woodbine Road to Cedar Avenue in Upper Township.
County road crews have installed road closed signs and are prepping the work site. Walters Marine Construction, Inc. will begin work to repair the roadway tomorrow, September 1, 2011.
