Lower Township should have a new township manager this week. Council is expected to vote to officially remove Mike Voll from the position of township manager and appoint James Ridgeway to the position. Ridgeway has been serving on a temporary bases in the spot, while Voll was suspended from job. The Republicans won control of power and have made the decision to go in another direction for the position.
The township is also expected to approve animal control services with Shore Animal Center for $51,000 and appoint Lauren Suit to a three month term as public information officer.
The meeting takes place on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
