The Middle Township Police Department in conjunction with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office held a press conference on Wednesday afternoon to announce a reward offer in the Mark Himebaugh disappearance. An anonymous donor has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to closure of the case, and $25,000 for the safe return of Mark to Cape May County. According to CMC Prosecutor Robert Taylor, the donor offered the reward after learning about the 20-year anniversary of Himebaugh’s disappearance and hopes the money will encourage anyone with information to come forward. Taylor said that a tip in the case had been received just one week ago and is being investigated. Mark’s mother Maureen, was on hand to urge anyone with information to speak up.
