REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION ON MANAHAWKIN CAT SHOOTINGS

Officials in Ocean County have offered a $500 reward for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for shooting two cats earlier this month. One of the cats was killed but the other, a tan and brown female domestic shorthair, survived the shooting. The Stafford Animal Control found the two badly injured cats at the end of Stafford Avenue. Friends of the Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter said the surviving cat will be offered for adoption when she has sufficiently healed from the attack.
