On Monday the N.J. State Assembly passed a revised medical marijuana bill by a 70-1 vote with four abstentions. The bill was passed by the Senate last month and now goes to Governor Christie. The governor mandated changes to the original bill by a partial veto. It will still take two or three signatures for children to get medical marijuana, available in edible form. Adults cannot buy the drug in edible form other than lozenges. Under the bill, state dispensaries will be allowed to produce more than three strains of marijuana.
