The new owners of the Revel Casino in Atlantic City say the building will re-open as a casino, but no timetable has been announced. Brookfield US Holdings LLC was the successful bidder this week for the Revel, capturing the $2.4 billion casino for just $110 million. Officials with Brookfield say the Revel will once again be an attractive gaming hall. A Florida developer who didn’t win the bid, Glenn Straub, is considering an appeal of the auction, saying it was flawed.
