It was not the start they were looking for. Revel Casino clocked in at eighth among the 12 Atlantic City casinos in May revenue figures. The new state numbers were released on Monday. Casino revenue in the resort fell another 9.5 percent compared to the year prior. Revel was on a soft opening until the Memorial Day weekend. The $2.4 billion casino has had a lot of expectations on it to help Atlantic City, branding itself as an upscale resort.
