A food mart will be available at the Garden State Parkway Ocean View rest stop. Assemblyman Matt Milam tells Coastal Broadcasting that the state has approved an expansion of the rest stop. The new construction will have a quick mart type store that will be run by the gas station. Sunoco is taking over control of the gas stations on the Parkway. Milam also says that the possibility of bringing local vendors or farmer’s markets to the rest stop is not out of the question either.
